The restaurant finished its changes on schedule, and last night got the doors open so that diners could enjoy a meal in the updated space.
The restaurant had planned to modernize the look, bringing in contemporary gray and black to replace the ostentatious gold color scheme. The menu also changed recently in anticipation of the remodel, incorporating more economical options, such as a nightly, $45 three-course prix fixe menu.
On Tuesday, the eatery will debut its fall seasonal menu in the new digs.
