And while the draft selections are woefully pedestrian, save for Dale's Pale Ale (the rest of the roster includes Fat Tire, Coors Light, Blue Moon, Guinness and PBR), and the Jägermeister tap machine cautions that the bar is geared toward drunken collegiates, there's a surprising twist behind the stick: There are four taps, all of which dispense Infinite Monkey Theorem wines. "I love IMT wines, it's local, and Ben Parsons does a great job. We feel really lucky to have his wines in this location," says Seidel, noting, too, that the sandwich shop also stocks 35 different bottled beers.
It's serving breakfast, too, which, up until now, has only been available at the Spire location. There's also a back patio with a fire pit, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining room that open to the streetscape. "This store is a really great-looking space," says Seidel, "and we're super-excited to be here." Seidel is working on two more Snarf's, as well, including one at 38th and Clay and another at Sixth Avenue and Clayton, in Cherry Creek North.
I stopped by the DU Snarf's over the weekend to snap some photos and grab a breakfast sandwich, which was all about the pig. Herewith the pics.
