For everyone else:At 6:30 p.m. today, Lola, at 1575 Boulder Street, hosts the next in its "Pull Up a Seat" dinner series; special guest chef Tyler Wiard of Elway's will join Jamey Fader to cook tastes of the northern Pacific coast of Mexico. Also at 6:30 p.m.,Strings and Marczyk Fine Foods will host a men-only Scotch tasting, featuring eight different manly drinks, as well as tapas by Strings chef Aaron Whitcomb. The event, $45, is at Strings, 1700 Humboldt Street; for reservations, call 303-894-9499.

And the Wynkoop Brewing Company, 1834 18th Street, will host a Mardi Beer Dinner tonight, with the Big Easy Black Voodoo Lager tapped at 5 p.m. and the first pour at 6:30 p.m. The four-course, four-beverage dinner is $35 per person (plus tax and tip); to reserve a spot, call 303-297-9999.
