The three stores opening that day are the locations at 5901 South University in Englewood, 1710 29th Street in Boulder, and 790 Colorado Boulevard -- which is the Trader Joe's that will have the sole liquor store a company is allowed in the state under Colorado laws.

In announcing the opening date for these three locations, the California-based Trader Joe's, which has 400 stores in 36 states, revealed that it will open a fifth store in Fort Collins at the corner of College Avenue and Horsetooth Road late next year. Another store will open on Capitol Hill later in 2014.

When they finally open, the stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
