Months later, our mission to determine what this state tastes like is about to culminate in the Colorado Cocktail Project. On June 26, the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver will be the site for learned lectures on the topic (not to mention excellent food and drink). And then on the evening of Monday, June 27, the finalists in the Colorado Cocktail Contest will pour their hearts -- and a lot of great state products -- into a competition to determine the official Colorado Cocktail.
Tickets to the Colorado Cocktail Project ($40 per day, $70 for both days) are now on sale at select Whole Foods stores -- but to stir things up, we're going to give a pair away.
To enter the contest, decide what Colorado tastes like to you and then post your answer -- ten words or less, please -- in the comments section below by 5 p.m. Thursday, June 16. We'll announce the winner Friday morning (which will give everyone else plenty of time to buy tickets).
