Pro-gun advocates, including members of the NRA and the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners club, held a rally on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Cherry Creek State Park, near where a memorial ceremony was being held for the victims of Aurora movie theater tragedy and gun violence. James Holmes used automatic weapons to kill twelve people and injure 70 more on July 20, 2012 in the Aurora theater. The memorial ceremony was held by the No More Names group, which is on a bus tour that aims to stop gun violence. It is a project of the group Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
