A new park popped up in downtown Denver yesterday, with city officials and neighbors on hand to celebrate. Through August 15, The Square on 21st — a block-long strip of 21st Street between Lawrence and Larimer — will remain a park-like public space with seating, lawn games, an area for off-leash dogs, a performance stage, beverage vendors, a bike trail and a street mural by local artists Pat Milbery, Jason Graves, Pat McKiney and Remington Robinson.
