Frenetic frontman Jesse Hunsaker screamed and wailed over drummer Mike Perfetti's hi-hat fueled beats and guitarist Adam Rojo's trebly and biting riffs; it was like Fuguzi's Ian MacKaye

  • Pictures to prove it: 3OH!3 representing the 303

brutalphotos.comNow that's what we call representing the home team in word and in deed. Talking about the old school Broncos sticker affixed to Adam Halferty's drumkit. Attaboy, Adam! When he's not keeping time for Young Coyotes, Halferty and his former Chain Gang of 1974 bandmate, Kamtin Mohager are touring members of 3OH!3. This photo was snapped this week somewhere on the Warped Tour. We're guessing it wasn't captured yesterday in Scranton, Penn, where Sean Foreman opened up a nasty gash on h

  • 3OH!3 releases Live Sessions ep on iTunes

Ever wonder what a languid version of "Don't Trust Me" would sound like drained of its vitality with completely earnest, singer-songwriter styled vocals? Actually, if you've ever wondered what 3OH!3 would sound like hopped up on tranquilizers and stripped of its hyperactive delivery and ever present smirk and recast as doleful, emo-indebted troubadours, wonder no more! The outfit just released a six-song Live Session ep, available exclusively on iTunes. Hell even the artwork that was chosen f

  • Introducing: Blackhearts

Just a bit ago, Blackhearts, the thus far super secret collaboration between Yonnas Abraham of the Pirate Signal, F.O.E. and Karma, made its online debut with a track called "Bloodlines of That Gangsta Shhh." According to Abraham, the still burgeoning outfit will expand to include collaborations with other artists such as Catch Lungs, Whygee, Naeem Oba, Haven, 800, Sunkenstate, ManeRok, DJ Cavem, Swaun Blaze, Isis, Acezi, Bianca Mckahn, Deca and Adam Halferty of Young Coyotes and Brandon fro

  • Update: Young Coyotes may or may not be playing their last show next week

Update: Suspicions partially confirmed. We just heard back from Young Coyotes frontman Zach Tipton, and he shed a little more light on the future of the band. Tipton assures us first and foremost that he and drummer Adam Halferty are still friends and on good terms. Just the same, they have decided to take a "hiatus while we both do what's exciting to us at the moment." For Tipton, that means he's going to focus on I Am the Dot and will be working on some other artsy projects, including some
