  • Bombay Bowl comes to the Tech Center

The Denver Tech Center is full of movers and shakers who could probably use some sustenance to support them while they watch the market fall. Now they can find it, fast, at the Bombay Bowl. The fast-casual spot at 12023 East Arapahoe Road in Centennial opened on February 20. It's the brainchild of Amar Singh, who earned an MBA and MS in finance at the University of Colorado and worked on the corporate side of various start-ups before deciding to attempt his own restaurant.

  • Baker St. Pub moves into former Nine75

Baker St. recreates a British pub in the Denver 'burbs. While other chains contract, Baker St. Pub & Grill has been taking advantage of the economy by snapping up now-empty locations in the metro area. First it took on a Chili's at 1729 28th Street in Boulder; now it's adding the former Nine75 north space at 2831 West 120th Avenue in Westminster, one of the last vestiges of Jim Sullivan's empire-building. Baker St. also has Colorado outposts in Belmar and the Denver Tech Center, as well as se

  • Attention unfickle Broncos fans: Morton's introduces a new tailgating menu

We know: the Broncos were pure suck last Sunday, and for me it was double-suck, because I was in a bar with sucky food (but a good beer selection). A tailgating party would have been a lot more fun, and the food a whole lot better -- especially if it had come from Morton's of Chicago, which has just introduced tailgating takeout bar menus at both metro locations:
