The Ramada Inn Downtown Denver is like a rock-and-roll RV park on weekend nights, when tour buses crowd the parking lot and bleary-eyed musicians trickle through the lobby at all hours. on a holiday, the acts at the Bluebird on Monday night had to compete
with the Nuggets playoff game that was taking place at the Pepsi
Center, as well as the steady downpour that turned the streets into

Boom!, released last week on Psychopath, grabbed the top spot on Independent's charts while new releases from Trey Songz and Whitney Houston came in second and third for the week ending September 6. ​Blueprint 3, Jay-Z's highly anticipated follow-up to his two previous Blueprint albums, grabbed the top spot at Independent Records while Raekwon's latest effort, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 came in second for the week ending September 13. ​It's been an insanely busy week of concert announcements that run the gamut from King Kahn & BBQ Show and Melt-Banana, Wolfmother and Ghostland Observatory to Stone Temple Pilots, Insane Clown Posse and Kevin Smith (yep, Silent Bob himself will speak). Steely Dan fans might get a bit giddy to hear that Donald Fagan, Walter Becker and company will play the landmark album Aja in its entirety when they visit the Wells Fargo Theatre Thursday, October 29 as part of their Rent Party '09 Tour.
