Colorado rapper Catch Lungs started get his name buzzed about in the local scene when he started working with producers SP Double and Flawless as part of the Boostwell Crew last year. After separating from Boostwell this summer, he began working on his own mixtape, Food for the Famished, which became available last month. We caught up with Catch Lungs for a quick Q&A session.

The first release from Jewell Tyme Music in 2009 is from rapper Karma in the form of a mixtape called Barack O'Karma: Street Politics. It's mixed by DJ Tense of ManeLine and features appearances from the entire Jewell Tyme roster, including F.O.E., Haven, and 800 the Jewell. Even though ManeLine is continually doing shows around town and the Pirate Signal is hard at work on its new album, rapper Mane Rok and DJ A-What have found time to connect and put together a mixtape project called Mane Rok and DJ AWHAT! Present Rok Stars Mixtape. The project will feature appearances from Karma, Dyalekt, F.O.E., A.V.I.U.S., Inkline, O.N.E., Ace of Paradox, Grizz of Likker Cats, among others.
