  • Ghost Buffalo gets robbed. May the burglars burn in hell.

Photo Jesse DawsonWhile we're not exactly the type of folks to ever wish ill will on anyone, here's hoping that karma is indeed a boomerang this time around and that the presumed lowlifes who burglarized our friends in Ghost Buffalo burn in hell -- or at least get a flat tire or something. Thanks to a break-in at their apartment, Marie Litton and Matt Bellinger are now minus a computer, an acoustic guitar, a new iPod, a digital camera and a bunch of other stuff, including some of the music Marie

  • Tickle Me Pink frontman has house burglarized

Just a week after we found out that Marie Litton and Matt Bellinger had their place broken into, it seems another local musician has found himself on the business end of a break-in. Tickle Me Pink frontman Sean Kennedy's home was recently burglarized, and he's offering a substantial reward to anyone with information that will help him track down his pilfered equipment, which includes three guitars and two keyboards. See Kennedy's plea after the jump. And, as with the creeps who made off with Gho

  • Lowlife jerkwads steal All Capitals' van

The members of All Capitals are praying for retribution ... or at least the return of their van. What is it with all these lowlife jerks preying on hardworking, hapless musicians? It has been our great displeasure to report on a series of heists over the past year or so involving a number of local minstels. Off the top of our head, last fall, Epilogues had a laptop jacked -- from a benefit it was playing, no less -- Sean Kennedy from Tickle Me Pink had his house burglarized, as did Matt Bellinger

  • Ghost Buffalo gives up the ... well, ghost

Allow us to make this semi dreary Friday a little drearier. We just received word that one of our favorite bands (yes, we know we have a lot of favorite bands) is about to expire. It seems Ghost Buffalo, we're saddened to report, has reached its natural end. The outfit is slated to play two final shows before hanging it up for good -- one at 3 Kings Tavern on Tuesday, May 12, with Eyes and Ears, Bryan Hartley and Sonic Vomit, and another on Thursday, May 14, at the Rocket Room in Colorado Spring

Out of the death of a band, at least there came a great show The night was bittersweet. And how could it not be? After six years of shows and tours and records, Ghost Buffalo has, for good reason, become an integral part of the Denver scene. The truth is now upon us, though. Ghost
