This Saturday, November 22, the members of Pee Pee, Denver's most curiously named combo, will be warming up for Nellie McKay at the Mercury Cafe before then joining the songstress back on stage as her backing band. The show, a benefit for bands for lands, will be the outfit's last for a while. The group will be taking the better part of the winter off to allow frontman Doo Crowder time to work on his solo record and to give Pee Pee a chance to finish its next album. -- Dave Herrera
