Turned in an economy version of the show last night. No guests, no co-host. Not much to report really. Just one guy, one mike and two dozen handpicked tunes. Where was my faithful sidekick, you ask? Why Mr. Thomas had a show last night at the Larimer Lounge, as he dutifully reminded me via text yesterday just a few hours before the show. I, of course, responded, dutifully reminding him that I couldn't make it because, well, I'd be on the radio hosting our show and stuff. Oh, that. Heh-heh. Anyho

So, it looks like our favorite singer-songwriter, Danielle Ate the Sandwich, has become everybody else's favorite, after all. Ms. Sandwich (or Ms. Anderson, if you prefer formality), appearing this Friday, June 26, on the Meadowlark patio, has garnered invitations to perform at the upcoming UMS and Monolith festivals, and was asked to write the theme for Everyday, a new afternoon talk show on Fox 31 hosted by Libby Weaver and Natalie Tysdal. And she's not the only local artist whose song are bei

As music critics, the most common question we get asked (and ask each other, for that matter) is, "What are you listening to?" The pervasiveness of this query is precisely what inspired Heavy Rotation, our latest feature. For the benefit of those who happen to be curious, we've compiled a list of all the things we're listening to this week. Feel free to chime in with picks of your own after the jump.
