    For the sixth week in a row, Eminem grabbed the top spot at Independent Records for the week ending June 28. Mars Volta's new album, Octahedron, and Mike E. Clark's Psychopathic Murder Mix V. 1 compilation came in second and third while four Michael Jackson albums, including the 25th Anniversary edition of Thriller, nabbed spots in the top ten.   • Third Eye Blind grabs top spot at Twist and Shout

    ​Third Eye Blind's fourth studio album, Ursa Major, released last week on Megaforce, topped Twist & Shout's charts for the week ending August, 23. Brendan Benson, who was releasing his own albums years before joining the Raconteurs, debuted at the number three slot with his latest effort, My Old Familiar Friend while Modest Mouse, Wilco and the Dead Weather rounded out the top five.   • Motorhead show canceled/Regina Spektor, STS9, Tech N9ne shows announced

    ​Motorhead's Saturday, September show at the Fillmore Auditorium with Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy has been canceled. Refunds are available at point of purchase, but if you bought tickets at Fiddler's Green they will be refunded at the Fillmore box office. Other recent cancellations include Slipknot's August 31 gig at World Arena in Colorado Springs and Maximo Park's September 14 show at the Bluebird. Now for the good news. STS9 returns to the area for a pair of dates at the Wells
