    Although it hasn't been said as much outright, it sounds like Spools of Dark Thread's days may be numbered. Chris Thomas, Spools' furiously talented frontman (far right), revealed this afternoon that he and his mates are discussing whether or not the band will continue. Let's hope so.     ​Former Mazzy Star singer Hope Sandoval will be hitting the road next month for the first time in eight years on the heels of her forthcoming album, Through the Devil Softly, due September 29 on Nettwerk.
