    ​To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock, the Denver Film Society is hosting Peace & Love on the Rocks tonight at Red Rocks. This special edition of Film on the Rocks includes a screening of Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace & Music Director's Cut as well as music by some fine local talent including Something Underground, Chris Daniels, Hazel Miller, Angie Stevens, Wendy Woo and Xiren.   • Wendy Woo reschedules CD release party

    ​Since rain forced the cancellation of Wendy Woo and Robin Hoch's CD release party on July 29, the pair rescheduled it for Wednesday, September 2 as part of Swallow Hill's Shady Grove Picnic Series at Four Mile Historic Park (715 South Forest Street). The show starts at 6:30 p.m. with Rob Drabkin opening and tickets are $7/$10 and $2 for children 12 and under. Woo and Hoch co-produced and shared writing credits on Saving Grace, which is Woo's eighth album and Hoch's debut.
