To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock, the Denver Film Society is hosting Peace & Love on the Rocks tonight at Red Rocks. This special edition of Film on the Rocks includes a screening of Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace & Music Director's Cut as well as music by some fine local talent including Something Underground, Chris Daniels, Hazel Miller, Angie Stevens, Wendy Woo and Xiren. Since rain forced the cancellation of Wendy Woo and Robin Hoch's CD release party on July 29, the pair rescheduled it for Wednesday, September 2 as part of Swallow Hill's Shady Grove Picnic Series at Four Mile Historic Park (715 South Forest Street). The show starts at 6:30 p.m. with Rob Drabkin opening and tickets are $7/$10 and $2 for children 12 and under. Woo and Hoch co-produced and shared writing credits on Saving Grace, which is Woo's eighth album and Hoch's debut.
