A New Rio Grande Pops Up — on West Evans?
I wonder if the margaritas will be good?
Over the past several years, the bar at 1050 West Evans Avenue has changed hands numerous times: It has been the OT Lounge, Ike's America's, Greta's Alibi and, most recently, Cecil's Cantina, owned by Jody Johnson, who ran the Sedalia Grill for 22 years before coming back to Denver.
Cecil's shut down earlier this summer after a year in business, and the place was vacant for a couple of months. And while a new sign just went up, we're guessing that this incarnation won't last long, either — but for reasons unrelated to the joint's difficult location. We'll let the photo do the talking.
