On Sunday, September 20, Westword will host DISH, its 21st annual celebration of the Denver dining and drinking scene. More than forty favorite restaurants of Westword food writers and readers will be offering samples of delectable dishes at DISH, including Americatus New-World Italian, which Iain Chisholm opened in the summer of 2012 as Amerigo Delicatus. The name may have changed, but the focus has not — and the fare is definitely still delicious.

Americatus will be sampling sausage bruschetta, which features housemade Italian sausage on top of a toasted crostini, layered with housemade ricotta and marinara sauce, with mixed greens sprinkled on for the final bite. After trying it at DISH, you can enjoy that sausage in several dishes at Americatus, including the sausage sandwich.

DISH 2015 runs from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, in Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Tickets — which include unlimited samples of food and drink — are $50 for general admission; the $85 VIP ticket includes early admission at 11 a.m. Buy your DISH tickets here — and if you use the promo code "Denverdish," you can still get a $25 GA ticket!
