Q: Is there anywhere in the area where I can walk in off the street and buy a deviled egg?

A: I thought I was going to lay an egg on this one, since the only place I could count on for freshly made deviled eggs was the now-defunct East Coast Italian Deli, at 8998 East Hampden Avenue. However, local foodie Lew Cady recently tipped me off to a platter of ³devil eggs² (59 cents per egg) in the deli display case of the King Soopers at 1331 Speer Boulevard. It turns out that most metro King Soopers stores offer deviled eggs periodically, depending on the individual deli's mood. They can be special-ordered as a party tray, too.
