The Fainting Goat, 846 Broadway, will introduce a new menu today at 11 a.m. The pub's fare now features spinach and artichoke dip, sliders and salads, and a "seared" blue cheese and bacon cheeseburger; check the website for the rest of the selection. Monday, January 21:

Tuesday, January 22:
Vinue Food and Wine Bar, 2817 East Third Avenue, is hosting a mixer for singles between thirty and forty this evening. The event, which costs $79.95, includes a food- and wine-tasting and begins at 6 p.m.; call 720-287-1156 to RSVP.

The second annual Beaver Creek Food and Wine Weekend gets under way at the Beaver Creek Resort in Avon today. The three-day event features cooking demonstrations, wine and spirits tastings and paired dinners; visit the website for the full schedule of events and ticket pricing.
Saturday, January 26:
Steve's Snappin' Dogs, 3525 East Colfax Avenue, is hosting its Best Tasting Green Chili Contest today from 1 to 3 p.m. The event features over a dozen local restaurants offering up their versions of the dish to a panel of local judges, which includes Westword's Lori Midson. And the restaurant will donate 10 percent of hot dog sales during the event to Project Angel Heart; check the website for more information.
