Denver Burger Battle, Dinner In White and more on this week's culinary calendar
With Euclid Hall's first anniversary party, the Denver Burger Battle and the Dinner in White, the Denver dining scene already has a very full plate this week. But there's more, lots more, including Vesta Dipping Grill's Menu Classic Mondays ((those are Vesta's samosas you see before you). Here's a taste of this week's culinary calendar:
Monday, August 8:
Vesta Dipping Grill, 1822 Blake Street, will feature another Menu Classic Monday: a three-course meal for two for only $52.80, based on the Vesta cookbook that came out last December. The menu changes monthly; for details, call 303-296-1970 or visit www.vestagrill.com.

The Kitchen, 1039 Pearl Street in Boulder, will host its Monday Night Community Dinner, a four-course, family-style dinner; a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Growe Foundation's mission of placing organic gardens in Boulder schools. Chinook Tavern, 6380 South Fiddlers Green Circle in Englewood, will host the Old World Meets New World Wine Party starting at 6 p.m.; Aurelie Botton will discuss "old world" French wines and "new world" Chilean wines. It's time for Dinner In White, a benefit for AMC Cancer Center. The venue will be revealed an hour before the event; be prepared by dressing all in white and preparing a picnic dinner -- then head to the location to sip on French cocktails, shop in the Parisian marketplace and enjoy more specials.
