First Look: Brik on York Combines Colfax History With Wood-Fired Cooking

Brik on York owner Travis Gee threw open the doors yesterday to welcome customers to his new wine bar and eatery featuring an imported Italian wood-burning oven and a menu designed by executive chef Shoshana Frost. Gee's approach to designing the space was to honor the building's history and bones. Photographer Danielle Lirette captured the ambiance of the charming space that has also been home to a watch repair shop and matinee in its long history.
