If you must venture out on this cold Black Friday, be sure to stop by one of your local food and drink purveyors to warm up for the action. And don't forget that Saturday is Small Business Saturday, a great day to support the local dining scene. Keep reading for a taste of this weekend's culinary calendar.

Friday, November 27

The team at Beast + Bottle has partnered with A Community Taking a Stand to host a food drive to help those in need. Any diner who brings in five non-perishable food items between today and December 30 will receive a token for a free glass of wine selected by the sommelier. For more on A Community Taking a Stand, click here.

Pop into Postino WineCafé today and get a little Black Friday shopping done: Guests who buy a $100 Postino gift card will receive a bonus card worth $40.

Shopping on Black Friday? Need to let off some steam? Head to Punch Bowl Social today and take your aggression out on those ten white pins. When you bowl a Turkey (three strikes in a row), you'll get a free shot of Wild Turkey. For more information, call the bar at 303-765-2695.

Do some of your Black Friday shopping in Larimer Square today, and you can grab a free drink at Tamayo. Beryl's Beer Company is celebrating Small Business Saturday with a 3120 Holiday Party. Smirk will be selling beanies, hoodies and more; there will be live music by The Heartstring Huntersand, a fish fry and giveaways, and Beryl's will be releasing its new seasonal barley wine. The holiday party runs from noon to 10 p.m. and is free to attend; visit the event's Facebook page for more information.

From 7 to 10 p.m. you can get drunk on the holiday spirit—or just get drunk—at Downtown Littleton's Elf Crawl. Your $25 ticket will get you drink tickets good at over ten Littleton bars, an elf hat to keep you warm and a sweater koozie to keep your drinks warm—or cold. Don your most festive apparel and head down to Jake's Brew Bar, at 2540 West Main Street, to check in for the event anytime after 5 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Inter-Faith Community Service. For more information, click here.

Thanksgiving has passed, so it's time to light up Denver. Little Man and the LoHi neighborhood are doing their part by lighting up a Christmas tree and giant Menorah at 5:30 p.m. today in Little Man Plaza. There will also be photo ops with Santa, live reindeer and Clydesdale horses, free food, hot drinks and even chestnuts roasting on an open fire—you just can't get more festive than that.

Sunday, November 29

Watch the Broncos tackle the New England Patriots today at Tracks, during the bar's Big Gay Football Day.  Watch the game on a massive 40 foot by 10 foot screen, while enjoying food and drink specials, games, prizes and more. For more information, call Tracks at 303-863-7326.
