You can eat green and get green at La Fiesta these days. The Mexican lunch joint -- which took over an old Safeway in Curtis Park more than forty years ago and has been serving great green chile and other Colorado-style Mexican dishes ever since -- is giving diners $5 off coupons that they can use any Friday after 3 p.m.

And that's a double deal, because La Fiesta is usually only open weekday lunches, from 11-2:30 p.m. But now on Fridays, La Fiesta stays open until 9 p.m. And if the good weather holds, La Fiesta's patio could be the perfect spot to use your five-buck coupon this Friday (although the coupons are good until April 15). La Fiesta has regular happy-hour deals, too: from 3 to 7 p.m., you can get a bucket of Coronitas for $7.50, and margs and domestic beer are all two-for-one.

La Fiesta is located at 2340 Champa Street; for more info, call 303-292-2800.
