I don't like mushrooms, at least not button mushrooms, which taste like dirt, as do beets, which I happen to like a lot. In any case, see the heap of mushrooms in the above flash? Tossed with fresh lime juice, pops of jalapenos, scraps of red onion and cilantro, button mushrooms are better than beets.
