Guess where I'm (not) eating an overdone burger
Does this look medium rare to you?
This steak place was crammed with nurses in town for a convention, but even they couldn't save an overdone cheeseburger that we ordered medium rare, but arrived without a trace of pink. And a replacement was just as DOA when it was delivered. The gracious (if overwhelmed) management did take the $7 happy-hour burger off the tab -- but we still almost went into cardiac arrest when the bill came and we saw that the bar was charging $5.75 for a Coors Light....and $16.25 for a Grey Goose martini.
Can you guess where I'm (not) eating this burger?
Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to a Guess Where post -- on the Cafe Society blog, not on Facebook -- is entered into the contest pool, and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who'll receive a 2014 EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants.
