When Chris Elam, program director at Meatless Monday, told us his side of the veggie-movement story, he hinted that a national chef would soon be signing on to the cause. We mused that Emeril Lagasse, Tom Colicchio, and Wolfgang Puck were very much in play.
Turns out it's Puck who's jumping aboard the meat-free bandwagon: He's launching Meatless Monday at Wolfgang Puck Pizzeria & Cucina in Las Vegas.
"He's starting with one, seeing how it goes," said Chris Elam in an email. "But apparently he believes in the idea, [and it] could spread throughout empire."
That empire is admittedly vast. And if it does happen, we'll see Meatless Monday at Wolfgang Puck Express in DIA and Spago in Beaver Creek.
