Super Bowl Sunday is quickly approaching, and Denver is abuzz with optimistic anticipation. For those who don't plan on watching the game at home, there are plenty of options around town. Many of Denver's favorite bars are throwing viewing parties or serving up specials to make the big game even more exciting. From orange beers to free Jell-o shots, if you're planning on heading out this Sunday, here are some more of the best deals in town.

Cherry Cricket A staple in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood, the Cherry Cricket will be open for regular business hours on game day (11 a.m. to 2 a.m.) and will be serving up food and drink specials, including orange Coors Light on tap.

Copper Kettle Brewing Starting around kickoff, Copper Kettle will be giving away free pizza on Super Bowl Sunday. They'll have multiple options available, but once it's gone, it's gone.

EDGE Restaurant and Bar Take the edge off with $3 drafts and $12 pitchers at EDGE Restaurant and Bar. EDGE will also be running half off selected appetizers on Super Bowl Sunday.

Epernay Epernay has four screens on which to watch the game, including a 175-inch projection screen with theater-style seating. They will be serving "high-end" bar food in addition to their regular menu.

Ernie's Bar and Pizza Ernie's Bar and Pizza will be slinging pizzas all Sunday. They're offering 2-for-1 ten-inch pies and happy-hour drink specials all day. Did we mention they have eight big-screen TVs?

Harry's Feel like watching the game with a little class? Harry's, in the Magnolia hotel downtown, will be showing the game on two big-screen TVs, and will feature a "Peyton Manning special" with 18 percent off draft beers, wines and spirits all day. Feeling hungry? Try the Omaha sliders for $8 or indulge in unlimited free wings with a beverage purchase. Harry's will also be offering $20 unlimited draft beers, and one lucky person will win a $50 bar tab.

Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery One of Denver's newer breweries, Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery is a great place to watch the game for those who want to avoid the crowds. They'll be serving up craft beer and pizza in their tap room, with plenty of seating available.

Jake's Food & Spirits When you make a game-day reservation at Jake's Food & Spirits, you'll get the Main Game special -- a pitcher of beer and a basket of wings. Oh, and there are eleven flat-screen HDTVs and a 100" projector screen.

Katie Mullen's Katie Mullen's will offer happy-hour prices on drinks and food starting at 3 p.m. and running all night.

LoHi Steak Bar Cheer on the Broncos and support a great cause at LoHi Steak Bar where donations will be accepted for the Children's Hospital. A $25 donation will get you complimentary select beers, appetizers and specialty cocktails (limit 5 cocktails per person).

Mellow Mushroom Mellow Mushroom's downtown location will be offering drink specials and $9 medium cheese pizzas during the game, as well as free Jell-o shots every time the Broncos score.

Mile High Spirits Distilleries are quickly growing in popularity, and Mile High Spirits is one of the most popular in Denver. Mile High will show the game on its big-screens and will run drink specials all day.

Oceanaire Seafood Room Game day means happy hour all day and $1 oysters in the bar at Oceanaire.

Southern Hospitality If ribs are your thing, then Southern Hospitality is the place to watch the game. The restaurant will offer game-day specials all day, including all-you-can-eat buffalo wings, baby back ribs and Memphis ribs.

Strange Brewing Game days are always big at Strange Brewing, which is just blocks from the stadium, but today the brewery is holding a laid-back route -- by holding a potluck party. Bring a dish to share, and pair it with great craft beer. Strange opens at 1 p.m.

Tamayo Tamayo will be serving up bottomless brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and hosting a terrace viewing party, with big-screen TVs, from 4 to 10 p.m. To top it off, every time the Broncos score a touchdown guests will get a free shot of Mile High Spanish Fly.

Tracks Nightclub Tracks will be hosting The BIg Game, Big Gay Viewing Party at the EXDO event center. There will be five giant TV screens, lounge seating and plenty of football food. VIP Skyy bottle service is available for $25.
