The Western Museum of Mining and Industry is hosting "Picnic-N-Planes" at 10:30 a.m. this morning. Bring a picnic and enjoy the show for just a $5 entry fee for each car. Damon Ornowski will be joining the crew at Frasca Food and Wine to pour and discuss a flight of wines from three different regions in Italy: Umbria, Sicily and Friuli. The four-course dinner is $50 per person and you can make reservations by calling Frasca at 303-442-6966.

Stir Cooking School is offering a chance to learn all about fresh Italian cuisine from the island of Capri at 6:30 p.m. tonight. The menu will consist of insalata caprese, ravioli capresi, grilled shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta, citrus salmon and lemon gelato with limoncello. Friday, May 30
Enjoy free ice cream this evening at City Park! The annual City Park Ice Cream Social will take place at the City Park Pavilion and Band Shell from 6 to 9 p.m. Ice cream will be served at 6 p.m., followed by live music, face painting and a show of historic costumes. Random prizes will be provided to those who dress in historic outfits. Learn more here.
