Reader: Colorado microbrews engender good will
Hurry to Denver Beer Co. if you want to get a taste of Clown Question, Bro, a Canadian lager-style beer that DBC brewed after the Washington Nationals' Bryce Harper called a query regarding his favorite beer "a clown question."
But the rookie phenom took the homage in stride, and even called Denver Beer Co. to ask if the owners would donate proceeds from Clown Question, Bro sales to the Celena Hollis Memorial Fund. "Of course, we said yes," says DBC co-owner Charlie Berger.
This is awesome. First Ghost Face Killah, now Harper. Something about CO micro brews engenders good will. Oh, unless of course unless you are Gordon Biersch.
Denver Beer Co. only made a limited supply Clown Question; hurry over if you want to try it. Of course, you could always make a donation without the beer; read how here.
