Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant is donating 10 percent of sales from all six of its locations to High Park fire relief today.

The chain, which is famous for its strong margaritas (limit three per person), got its start in Fort Collins 26 years ago.

The restaurant has also partnered with a local web site that will send burritos to fire fighters on the front line -- and on Friday, it will feed the families that have been evacuated due to the fire. That event will take place at Cache La Poudre Middle School, and more than a thousand people are expected to attend.

Rio Grande is located at 143 West Mountain Avenue in Fort Collins; 1101 Walnut Street in Boulder; 825 9th Street in Greeley; 628 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs; 9535 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree; and 1525 Blake Street downtown.
