Failure can be tough to handle. It can be brutal, soul-crushing and deflating. But often, and usually in retrospect, failure can be funny, and it can also be a stepping stone to success. Failures, just like successes, should be celebrated, but they rarely are. Today's inaugural FuckUp Night is about to change that.
FuckUp Nights started in 2012 in Mexico City, when five friends decided they had heard enough success stories. Each decided to tell the story of one of their failed projects, and FuckUp Nights was born. The idea behind the event was to share stories of failed businesses and projects, which are then questioned and celebrated. The idea quickly took off, and currently FuckUp Nights are held in over 100 cities across the globe, and on every continent — excluding Antarctica.
