And tonight's event is no exception.
The Boulder Wine Merchant has partnered with Zoe Ma Ma, the shoebox-sized and damn good Chinese restaurant just off of the West End of Pearl Street, to throw a tasting event. The restaurant will cook up a number of specialties and bring them to the wine shop, where Zimmerman will pour German and Austrian Riesling pairings to match. The goal, he notes, is to show how "transcendent" Riesling can be when paired to the right food -- like spicy Asian fare.
Even better? The event is free.
You'll want to get your name on the list, though, because spots are limited. The seminar runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the store; call the Boulder Wine Merchant at 303-443-6761.
