Top Ten Places to Eat (and Drink) on Christmas Eve
By now the family is all here and the cooking for tomorrow has began -- which means that tonight is a perfect time to go out, sit back and let someone else do the cooking for you. Restaurants and bars across town will be serving up special holiday menus and fare this evening. Here are the ten top places to enjoy some pre-Christmas cheer.

Elway's Downtown will be open and serving a three-course, prix fixe twist on the traditional Christmas dinner. The special menu, which is priced at $75 per person, will be offered from 5 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas day. For reservations, call Elway's at 303-312-3107.

Join Tamayo for a special $30 holiday menu until 9:00 p.m. that includes a grilled eight-ounce baseball cut filet mignon with truffled-mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, chile-morita demi glaze and Oaxaca cheese. The restaurant will also offer its regular menu. Call 720-946-1433 for reservations.
Enjoy the Feast of the Seven Fishes at Jax Fish House in Fort Collins before Midnight Mass tonight. This candlelit, traditional Italian meal will feature several different kinds of seafood, served family-style. Wine is included and a kid's feast is also available. Argyll Whisky Beer will be offering a $35 prix fixe three-course meal featuring dishes such as butternut soup with chorizo apple compote, mussels with saffron broth, a traditional roast and cauliflower curry.
