UPDATE: Contest alert: Win two tickets to the Creole Food and Killer Beer dinner next Tuesday
WINNER ALERT: We have a winner of our Creole Food and Killer Beer contest. Congratulations to shaag81, who guessed 28 pints, just one digit off of the actual number of 29 pints. Thanks for playing!
Next Tuesday night -- that's Fat Tuesday, by the way -- the crew that launched the Chef and Brew festival last fall, will be back with Creole Food and Killer Beer, a food-and-beer collaboration between Beercraving.com, Strange Brewing Company and chef Michael Long.
The event, which will be held at Strange at 6 p.m., kicks off with a beer-and-nibbles hour, followed by a multi-course, family-style dinner at 7 p.m. (menu is below), cooked by Long, and we're giving away two tickets to attend the festivities. Here's what we want to know: How many pints of cherry bomb stout did Strange Brewing pour on February 2?
The Cafe Society commenter who comes the closest to the actual number without going over will win the tickets, which are also available for $49 per person at http://www.chefnbrewevents.com/.
We'll announce the winner on Monday by 6 p.m.
Ready, set, go!
