Update: The House sees the light, and passes Senate Bill 60
The Colorado House gave light beer lovers a Cinco de Mayo present yesterday, passing Senate Bill 60 -- which would allow bars and restaurants to sell any beer, no matter how light -- on a second reading.
And now word has come in that SB 60 just passed the full House -- which means the next stop is the governor's desk. And since John Hickenlooper is a former restaurateur (and current beer lover), we're pretty sure he'll do the light thing and sign the bill into law.
