Interesting method's, i like the canopy's it all looks healthy. Got to love the marijuana community in Colorado. Lets show the country that opening marijuana as a free market among 21 year old's is the perfect way to stimulate a broken economy. The fact is marijuana is a huge alternative to hundreds possibly thousands of other products. Also to DonkeyHotay maybe it did account for 1% of our national electricity use which polluted blah blah blah amount but the fact is the govt is the one who polluted by not using green utilities and energy sources and think of how much pollutants those plants got rid of and the air they produced "A acre of hemp or marijuana produces 6x the amount of 02 compared to an acre of trees. Which means it eats more Co2 and other green gasses as well.

How many jobs have been created and how much revenue generated for the state?FYI,There isn't enough wind generated or solar electric panels YET, for a greener industry.

What a GIGANTIC environmentally irresponsible waste of electricity.

In 2011, a study by researcher Evan Mills at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory showed indoor marijuana production accounting for 1 per cent of national electricity production, using $6 billion worth of energy per year, and creating greenhouse gas pollution equivalent to that of 3 million cars.

@wisdom42093 ... and it releases that CO2 back into the atmosphere when stoners light their joints and suck on their bongs.

@DonkeyHotay The misuse of energy comes from your govt and utility companies, oil  interest and big money not the marijuana industry. Most of us in Denver use alternative energy in some way to supplement our power. Now for the pollutants your not taking into account the massive consideration of how the plants actually improved the environment. Also that is an estimate the govt or big oil gave that researcher to release they nor any one has that actual number so it's completely fictitious.  With that said good day to you.

Greedy fools who waste MASSIVE amounts of Coal Fired electricity to run hugely inefficient incandescent lights.

Grow OUTDOORS, like any other agricultural crop, or inside Greenhouses under NATURAL SUNLIGHT.
