At least in Denver, nothing says the holidays like champagne flowing down a two-story Christmas tree made of 6,000 champagne flutes at the Brown Palace Hotel. The almost thirty-year-old tradition kicked off the season on Sunday, November 20. Guests watched as a master swordsman cut the necks off Moet & Chandon bottles and poured their expensive content down the outermost glasses of the "tree." The Christmas lights were lit, and Santa even made an appearance. All photos by Danielle Lirette.
