On Sunday, March 18, 2012 eight finalists from Denver Public Schools competed in the Bringing Back the Arts concert at the Bluebird Theater for prizes that included a KBCO Studio C session, a live radio interview and a gig as the opening act at an upcoming Bluebird concert. The event was sponsored by Chuck Morris, president of AEG Live of the Rocky Mountains, and spearheaded by Mary Louise Lee, wife of Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
