New York City burger phenomenon Shake Shack took over the Source on Saturday, February 24.
Denver went burger crazy for an afternoon at The Source (3350 Brighton Boulevard). New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer shook the place up with a Shake Shack pop-up, serving thousands of burgers to ravenous fans, some of whom waited hours in line. Shake Shack is slated to open at 30th and Larimer streets this spring, and just before the first burgers were served, the Shake Shack team announced that a second metro location will open in Highlands Ranch this summer. So if you didn't get your fix at the Source, fear not: You can soon fill up with a Shack Stack burger and a Shack Attack shake every day of the week.
