Chef Barbara Lynch Pays a Visit to Coohills

Boston chef/restaurateur Barbara Lynch paid a visit to Coohills, 1400 Wewatta Street, to read from her new memoir, Out of Line: A Life of Playing With Fire. Lynch, a two-time James Beard Award winner, was recently named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine, so there was a full house at the restaurant to meet her as chef/owner Tom Coohill presented a selection of dishes from Lynch's cookbook and restaurants. From butter soup to prune-stuffed gnocchi with foie gras, the food was as mesmerizing as the passages from Lynch's book. All photos by Jacqueline Collins.
