Denverites aren't delicate snowflakes — at least not the crew of intrepid Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey fans, known as "Stranafans," who camped out overnight (or longer) at the distillery to score rare bottles of Snowflake whiskey on the morning of Saturday, December 2. The limited bottlings are released only once or twice a year and sell out by mid-morning to those willing to wait. But even those too far back in line for a bottle of the rare spirit enjoyed food-truck grub, samples inside the distillery and a chance to buy other Stranahan's products. Whiskey business — but worth it.
