Denver's 150th Birthday Party Gift Bag

The official dedication program included a presentation of 14 floats honoring the dirt-dependent industries of sugar beets, peaches, broom corn, hogs and Future Farmers of America, among others.
It is customary today to give a well-stocked gift bag to each of the invited guests at a birthday party. If I were the host of Denver's 150th Birthday Party on November 22, 2008, I would stuff each gift bag with my favorite souvenirs of the city's past. -- Kenny Be
