Dog is still a big draw in Colorado. Despite that Duane "Dog" Chapman's A&E network reality show Dog the Bounty Hunter was canceled in May 2012 after eight seasons, the bounty hunter and his wife, Beth Chapman, still generate long lines and attracts devoted fans. A street festival around the Dog the Bounty Hunter store on Saturday, July 14 in Edgewater did just that. "The turnout is spectacular. I'm really surprised that so many people have come out. I think there's about seven or eight thousand people here and this is a really great turnout for the city of Edgewater," Beth Chapman told Westword on Saturday. Thousands were in attendance with many of them sporting Dog T-shirts or hats -- or just resembling Chapman in one way or another. Lewis and Floorwax's band, the Groove Hawgs, provided the music for the street festival and photographer Christopher Morgan brings back these photos for Westword.

Beth and Dog....I was a newbie to your show (after my adult handicapped son went to prison I was looking for some shows about the reality of jail and prison and ran into you) I tape every show so I don't miss any and I still can't get enough and am so disappointed now to hear that the show has been canceled. You guys are Real to the bone with the love and compassion...you've touched many lives in bringing people to justice. I missed you when you were in Canton, Ohio ...I hope that you come again someday...I would love to meet you both. Beth you are so straight forward, gutsy and I love when you don't wear your sensible shoes and you are racing around in those high heels...I hold my breath thinking you're going to twist your ankle or something....ha ha Well...share this with Dog and tell him I said 'hello' I am also of indian heritage....I was adopted by my maternal grandparents so I wasn't able to enjoy my indian relatives as much as I would have liked...my dad died and is buried on the reservation in Canada...I hope to be able to visit the reservation and his grave someday....I have relatives there I have never met and I am....(shhhh... 59....I think dog and I are the same age....born in 1953) anyway I am a talker...wish we could talk in person as then we could cover more ground...ha ha. When life closes a door the Lord opens a window...so there are many good things headed your way...just hang on and enjoy the ride! Many blessing for you and your family! Teresa from Ohio
I glad Beth that you and "Dog" are still popular you know if God is with you who can be against you!!!!
