From big-time developer to the big house?

1 of 11

In this week's Westword, Jared Jacang Maher writes about One Lincoln Park developer Erik Osborn, who says he can't afford an attorney to defend him against felony charges that he stole money from construction projects. But the public defenders office has refused his request for a lawyer. Why? Osborn’s current home at 7 Polo Club Lane is a massive Italian-style villa on the market for $6.5 million. The 14,841 square foot mansion has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a paneled library, a Listen Up home theater, a commercial grade gym with a spa and steam room, a humidor and wine cellar. Let’s take a tour, shall we?
