Near the site of the long-gone Denargo Market, which once employed Jack Kerouac and is mentioned in his book On the Road, is a sign of a newer Denver: a homeless encampment. Photographer Brandon Marshall took photos of the camp and its residents, who, at least for now, call the small patch of land on Arkins Court between Denargo and 29th streets home. It's hard to say when the encampment popped up, though one resident estimated about four months ago. Residents say police drive by every so often but don't cause much trouble.
