S'mores, Almond Joy, apple pie, lemon brûlée, carrot cake. Bakery tour? No, just another doughnut menu from dessert genius Ian Kleinman. The chef's celebrated Molecular Donut Pop-Up is back for version 6.0, this time at Fruition. Day one is on the books, but you can still stop in at 1313 East Sixth Avenue from 6 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, to Sunday, April 2, for high-tech treats like walnut paper, espresso pop rocks and sous-vide blueberries. There's even a savory doughnut this year called the Pig & Chicken Gravy Bath (complete with a fried egg). All photos by Danielle Lirette.
