A new Friday farmers' market launched at
Stanley Marketplace (2510 Dallas Street in Aurora) on June 1 and will continue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday through the end of August. Organized by Local Colorado (which operates several other metro Denver markets), this one offers goods from an array of small businesses, from savory sauce makers to beauty-product producers to a handful of specialty food vendors. Like most farmers' markets, the vendors will come and go as they have product to sell, so no two days will ever be exactly the same. Here's a look at what the inaugural day brought to the back field at the Stanley.
