Shopping for fire trucks at Denver International Airport

Ever dreamed of owning your own fire engine? On August 23, Denver International Airport and the Colorado Department of Transportation partnered up to sell off surplus airport equipment, with representatives from airports around the state coming to purchase vehicles and gear at an 80 percent discount. The equipment on sale was straight out of a little boy's toy box: fire engines, snowplows, dump trucks, and more. All photos by Nate Hemmert.
